Terms of Use

1. Who We Are

RenoVision is a web-based property analysis service operated as a sole trader by Ewan Hepburn ("we", "us", "our") under the trading name RenoVision. By accessing or using our website at reno-vision.uk (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. The Service

RenoVision provides AI-assisted analysis of UK residential property listings. The Service uses publicly available data sources (including Land Registry, EPC Register, ONS HPI, and Rightmove listing data) together with large language model technology to generate indicative renovation cost estimates and return-on-investment calculations.

Outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. They are provided as a starting point for your own research only.

3. Accounts and Registration

Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. When registering you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information (including a valid email address).
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Be at least 18 years old.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription Plans

The Service is offered on a tiered subscription basis:

  • Standard plan: £19/month (launch pricing). Includes up to 20 property analyses per billing period.
  • Pro plan: £70/month. Includes up to 100 property analyses per billing period plus all advanced features.
  • Top-up credits: Additional analyses may be purchased as a one-time credit pack. Credits do not expire and are consumed automatically once your monthly allowance is exhausted.

All plans are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing or plan limits at any time with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service through automated means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, prompts, or methodology underlying the Service.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security features.
  • Reproduce, resell, or redistribute analysis outputs for commercial purposes without our written consent.
  • Use outputs from the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning model or competing service.
  • Build or assist in building a product or service that replicates or competes with RenoVision using information obtained through the Service.
  • Submit URLs that are not genuine UK residential property listings.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account or login credentials to any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

The RenoVision platform, brand, software, analytical methodology, AI prompts, and all original content (excluding third-party data sources) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.

You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

Analysis reports generated for you are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, republish, sublicense, or otherwise exploit them commercially.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that analysis outputs are accurate, complete, or up to date. Property valuations, renovation costs, and ROI figures are estimates only and may differ materially from actual outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to losses arising from property investment decisions made in whole or in part on the basis of information provided by RenoVision.

8. Third-Party Data and Services

The Service integrates data from third-party sources including HM Land Registry, the Energy Performance Certificate Register, ONS, and postcodes.io. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's terms and conditions. We do not store your payment card details.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. On termination your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
